Black, Gag, and/or Red Grouper is a favorite fish of many South Floridians due to its flaky, meaty texture. Grouper is a very mild fish with a clean ocean flavor.
It is often prepared grilled, broiled, blackened, or even fried into "Grouper fingers".
We harvest our Grouper by speargun off reefs and shipwrecks on the SE coast of Florida. Never imported or frozen, these are true South Atlantic harvested Grouper. South Atlantic Grouper season runs May 1st-Dec 31st.
Please note, we try our best to get the fillet weight as exact as possible. However, since all fish are different sizes, the weight of your fillets could be + or - 0.2 lbs.
